TVM, One Radio top BA audience survey

The Broadcasting Authority's latest radio and TV audience assessment report unveiled the usual top stations - TVM and One Radio - as leaders in their respective medium.

The survey results, covering the period between April to June, did not vary much from the previous one held between January and March.

The data collected by the National Statistics Office show that TVM had 28.8 per cent of the daily TV audience share, followed by One TV (24.4 per cent) and Net TV (8.9 per cent).

TVM's audiences peaked on Thursdays (24 per cent), One TV attracted most of its viewers on Tuesdays (17.6 per cent), while Net TV's most popular slot was Mondays (seven per cent).

In terms of radio listeners, One Radio leads the pack holding 23 per cent of the daily average audience share, followed by Calypso Radio (13.8 per cent) and RTK (10.3 per cent). One Radio's audiences peak on Saturdays, Calypso Radio's popular slot is on Wednesdays (4.6 per cent), while RTK attracts most listeners on Mondays (4.7 per cent).
