Having just read Justin Tonna's letter about a pony getting whipped, I totally agree with him and the sometimes barbaric way that animals are treated on these islands.

The so-called police should have done more to bring this man to justice. Just because it's a horse, pony or donkey, that doesn't mean that they are to be treated that way. What century are these people living in?
