One of the cleanest and most environment-friendly forms of transport is cycling. So could the EU not have spared a few more thousand euros for cycling lanes on the St Paul's bypass? It seems that the local authorities could not afford them. The infrastructure should cater for safe cycling if more use of the bike is to be effectively promoted.
