Q. For how long have you been performing?
A. My first gig was nine years ago, at the age of 17.
Q. How would you describe your music? A. Funky Vocal House and Funky Electro House.
Q. Have you ever been tempted to start producing? A. Yes, but never had the time to do so.
Q. Currently, which is your favourite single? A. It's like my Bodyrox... Bodyrox.
Q. Over the years you have evolved from being a deejay to also becoming a promoter. How did this come about and which clubs have you promoted? A. On the strength of my DJ career, back in 1999, I decided to organise parties for a selected number of people who really understand my style of music and feature them in unusual locations. These parties are the Strictly House parties. After organising these parties, my crowd wanted something more regular and I began the Steve Caesar weekly night promotions. These were held at various clubs including Candy Box, Places, The Terrace (Strings), Brassmonkey, Club Lounge, SugarShake, Plush and Matrix.
Q. Where are you currently promoting? A. The Steve Caesar nights are currently being held at Sugar Shake on Saturday nights while the Strictly House parties are being held bi-monthly at various locations. The next Strictly House party will be held tomorrow at Velo Lounge (Lo Squero) in Floriana
Q. Have you ever performed abroad? A. Yes, I have performed at Sinners and DJ Café Sol in Amsterdam, and at Club Mecca in Prague and in Kiev.
Q. Which is the most memorable event you performed at? A. When I played for over 3,000 fans during my first Steve Caesar Classics Party held at Axis.
Q. Who or what made you gain momentum in the music industry? A. My perseverance
