A 71-year old woman from Fgura was in critical condition yesterday after being run over by a car at Marsascala on Sunday afternoon.

The police said the accident happened at about 5.30 p.m.

They said the woman was hit by a Daihatsu Charade driven by a 28-year old man from Cospicua.
