A 25-year-old man has been charged with stealing machinery and other items from a company.

Magistrate Antonio Mizzi heard Renald Barbara, of Rabat, plead not guilty to stealing from VBP Malta Ltd, handling stolen property and relapsing between March and April 2006.

He was remanded in police custody.

Police Inspector Mario Tonna prosecuted.
