Farsons Great Beer Festival tonight

The Farsons Great Beer Festival kicks off at Ta' Qali Park at 8 this evening.
The main stage will be hosted by Moira Delia and Ray Calleja and will feature Hooligan, Debbie Scerri and Christian Harding. Entertainment tonight includes Pjazza's resident band, Big Band Brothers as well as games and prizes for the audience.
The Rock Stage programme will feature White Crimson and The Characters.
A large variety of local and international award-winning beers are available. Speciality beers available exclusively in export markets will be available to visitors of the festival.
Food to complement the beer and music will be available at the Food Court.
Parents will be able to leave their children in the Kids Fantasyland where they will be kept entertained and amused with a range of performing arts, hands-on workshops, arts and crafts, storytelling, and educational programmes.
The festival will run until August 5 and entrance and parking are free. Sponsors of this year's edition are the Malta Tourism Authority, Melita Digital, Vodafone and Fiat.
Other sponsors include Atlas Insurance, Wilkinson Sword, Energizer, HSBC, Tuc, Algida and Alert Communications.
The Rock Stage is hosted by Bay Radio.
The Kids Fantasyland is sponsored by Chupa Chups.
Vodafone Malta Limited's stand will give the opportunity to visitors to contribute to a better environment by returning old mobile handsets and their accessories for recycling. Vodafone is giving away free merchandise made out of recycled material with every mobile phone handed in. All the proceeds raised from this initiative will be donated to YMCA Valletta.
HSBC has installed a temporary ATM at the Farsons Great Beer Festival for the convenience of customers visiting the festival.
