Mepa approves building permits. All well and good. I am all for development. However, shouldn't there be some rules regarding demolition?

At the moment they are demolishing next door and the dust and noise is unbearable. I can understand there is nothing to do about the noise, but surely the dust can be contained? What about doing what they do abroad and getting contractors to put up sheets of plastic to contain all the dust?

Perhaps Mepa will take note, or will contractors still have a carte blanche?
