Juventus will visit Parma in the third round of the Italian Cup next month following a complicated draw made yesterday.

Serie B sides and promoted Genoa and Napoli will contest the first and second rounds on Aug. 15 and Aug. 18 with the winners going through to the third round on Aug. 29, three days after the start of the league season.

In the third round they will join the sides that finished outside the top eight in last season's Serie A plus Serie B champions Juve.

Along with Parma versus Juve, Cagliari against Siena is the only other definite third round match.

Holders Roma, runners-up Inter and the other remaining top-flight sides enter the competition for the two-legged fourth round to be played in December and January.

The winner of Parma versus Juve will play Empoli while Sampdoria await the victor of Cagliari against Siena.

The new one-match final is scheduled for May 24.
