The weekend match from the 2007 Globalair Summer League pitted together Marsa and Overseas.

Marsa won the toss and elected to field first. Grant Williams and Adrian Collyer opened the batting for Overseas.

Collyer was first to go, lbw to a Colin Willis's delivery. He had managed only five runs. Dave Newton was in next but left after collecting a mere two runs.

Mike Smith then joined Williams at the crease to establish a more solid partnership. It lasted until Smith was caught for 36 runs. Williams went on to make 61, including five 4s and a 6, before being stumped.

After that, Phil Gibbs was the only batsman to make it to double figures - 12 runs not out. Seventeen extras helped Overseas total 146 from their allotted 20 overs.

Mike Caruana and Ronnie Sacco were the main wicket-takers for Marsa - three each.

Marsa's reply started on the right footing. In fact, they lost the first wicket when the score was at 43 runs. Robert Krishna was first to go making 25, Javed Shah was next in and made 24 from 15 balls faced, including four 4s.

Sacco joined Caruana who had been there from the start of the innings and the pair saw their team through to victory with one ball to spare. Sacco was 23 not out while Caruana made 59.

Marsa earned eight points for their win and now head the standings with 33 points ahead of Krishna on 28.

On Saturday, Marsa play Krishna in the last game of the season, a decider to determine this year's Summer League winners.
