I am all I see,
Animals running in the fields
Or a view of the seaside
From my bedroom window.
I am all I hear,
The pitter patter of rain on the window,
Or the windy breeze around me.
I am all I feel,
The soft fur of a cat
Or the rough shell
Of a turtle.
I am all I taste,
The salty taste of the ocean
Or the sour taste of lemon
With your drink.
I am all I remember,
When I was born - started school
I am all I I've been taught,
I started with the alphabet
Now writing poetry.
I am all I think,
The past, the present and the future.
I am like a bird flying swift as the breeze
But not as gentle and kind
I am me and that will never change.
