Monalisa Camilleri collected her second medal at this year's FISEC Games after placing second in the 1,500m final.

Camilleri crossed the finish line in a personal best of 4:59 minutes to secure a second silver medal in Nyiregyhaza after her second placing in the 800m last Saturday.

In the men's race, Karl Camilleri came home fifth in 4:43.33 ahead of Edward Bonello who recorded a personal best of 4:43.48.

In the 100m finals, Maria Sciberras was sixth in 13.35 seconds. Andrew Cassar Torreggiani clocked 11.57 in the boys' 100m race, finishing ahead of Ezekiel Micallef (11.74).

Rebecca Sare failed to earn a berth in the long jump final with a leap of 4.67m.

In the basketball competition, Malta chalked up their first win after beating Spain B 59-50. Rebecca Naudi was the leading scorer with 23 points. Today, Malta take on Spain A.

The boys' handball team suffered another defeat, losing to Portugal 31-19. Today, Malta complete their commitments with a match against Austria.

The 2007 FISEC Games come to a close today.
