The agreement between the government and the Malta Union of Teachers on reforms in education is a historic one that will enable the government to reach its aim of transforming Malta into a centre of excellence in education by the year 2015, the Nationalist Party Youth Movement said.

MZPN said the agreement was in line with the government's decision to invest Lm50 million in a new campus at Mcast. The investment will lead to the doubling of the number of students who are studying and training at the college.
