Accused of disclosing professional secrets

A 29-year-old woman has been charged with disclosing professional secrets and misappropriation on and before November 2002.

Lisa Borain pleaded not guilty to the misappropriation of Lm400 to the detriment of Joe Debono Jewellers, Pavillion Jewellers, Edwards Lowell Company Ltd, Time International Company Ltd and L'Orafo Company Ltd and to disclosing professional secrets.

Magistrate Audrey Demicoli presided over the case.

Police Inspector Edel Mary Camilleri prosecuted.

Lawyer Stefano Filletti was defence counsel.
