The Malta FISEC contingent for this week's 59th Games in Hungary leave the island this morning ahead of tomorrow's opening ceremony in Nyiregyhaza.

The Malta FISEC team will be taking part in five sport, namely, basketball (girls), swimming, athletics, handball (boys) and table-tennis.

Brother Martin Borg, FISEC Malta chairman, International Secretary Gianfranco Selvaggi, vice-president Louis Borg and CIRPP official Julie Bajada arrived in Hungary yesterday. They were greeted by Bela Kerezsi, the organising committee president.

The FISEC Malta delegation has already held discussions with FISEC counterparts and toured the venues for this week's Games.

They also held technical meetings with Alfred Cachia and Leonard Falzon who are responsible for the swimming and basketball events respectively in Nyiregyhaza.
