Two brothers from Senglea were charged with seriously injuring a man and slightly injuring another two men and a woman during the Freedom Day Regatta.

Anthony Delia, 33, and his 29-year-old brother Jason pleaded not guilty to seriously injuring Martin Pace and slightly injuring Rhys Fiteni, Ryan Bartolo and Connie Pace during the regatta on March 31.

The brothers were also charged with assaulting the four people and damaging Mr Pace's car.

Police Inspector Alexander Grech prosecuted.

Lawyer Roberto Montalto was defence counsel.
