As a result of the company's continuous growth, Yellow Pages (Malta) Ltd has restructured its management team into one of a two-tier format. The board of directors have promoted its financial controller John Muscat to the executive management team.

Mr Muscat graduated in Accountancy in 1989. He is a fellow member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and the Malta Institute of Accountants.

Between 1993 and 1999 he worked for the Farsons Group as chief accountant of Food Chain (Holdings) Ltd and in 1994 was promoted to manager of finance for Simonds Farsons Cisk plc.

In 2000 Mr Muscat joined Yellow Pages (Malta) Ltd, and has been instrumental in assisting the board in devising new financial and business strategies which paved the way for the company's rapid expansion.

Managing director Niki Soler welcomed this appointment, saying Mr Muscat was a valuable asset to the company and described this appointment as a major step towards the restructuring and anticipated future growth of the business.
