SIS is a joint venture between Siemens and Midi plc, set up to provide the operation and maintenance of systems at Tigné Point and Manoel Island.
It will provide a comprehensive range of technology based services including access control and climate control systems and smart-card services.
In addition, SIS is also a fully licensed telephony and internet service provider, and will launch a fully digital IP telephony and data services under the brand name SISCOM.
The company will use a next-generation fully digital IP-based telephone exchange provided by Siemens and a fibre-optic network throughout Tigné Point and Manoel Island, enabling data transmissions of up to 100Mbit/s.
