The Transport Authority expects to issue a call for tenders for the operation of a park and ride scheme to Paceville in the near future, subject to the necessary Mepa permits, Transport Minister Jesmond Mugliett said yesterday.

He told Evarist Bartolo (MLP) in reply to a parliamentary question that the ADT, Mepa and Pembroke Council had worked together on plans for the park and ride, which would operate from the Pembroke parade ground. Permit applications have been submitted to Mepa.
