The first International Blues and Wines Festival, to take place at the Valletta Waterfront between July 16 and 18, will feature Led Zeppelin vocalist Robert Plant together with his band The Strange Sensation, John Mayall, Smokie and local singer Fabrizio Faniello.

The festival, which is being organised by Classic Rock Promotions, will also see the participation of Big Joe Louis and his Blue Kinds, Indigo, The Red House Blues Band, Family Style Band, Versatile Brass Band, French duo Two Timers, Frenzy Mono and Deborah Bonham and her band.

A choice of local and foreign wines will be available throughout the three-day festival. There will also be a stand for those who prefer beer.
