Now that the bypass is finished (2)

Finally the long awaited St Paul's Bay bypass is finished and it's a blessing for drivers heading for Mellieha and/or for the Gozo ferries.

I know it's one road at a time but somebody should take a good look at the Armier Road from the top of the hill near the Madonna all the way heading into Armier and beyond. The road is a disgrace; besides the lows and highs it's full of pot holes and miserable to drive on.

This is a very busy road used by a lot of people especially in summer and I don't think much maintenance has been done to it since newly paved in the 1950s. Maybe the Mellieha council should take a quick ride to Armier and find out how bad this stretch of road is and then bring it up to with the government department responsible for road paving.

Armier Road is not used only by farmers anymore but it's used by many Maltese and tourists alike and it's worth looking into.
