IBM Europe recently organised its European Retail Event in Malta. The global company organises the event every year to present new products and discuss business between its Benelux partners.

Top executives from TCHAI International - an IBM business partner - also participated in this event. TCHAI International BV, using IBM multimedia solutions, were responsible for the interior installation of the Cadillac Experience Centre, located in Mdina Road, Attard.

The IBM European Retail Event spanned five days and delegates had some excursions around Malta during their free time between presentations.

Their first visit was to the Cadillac Experience Centre in Attard. IBM and TCHAI delegates were greeted by Fapi Motors senior management and they were given a comprehensive tour of the centre.

The Cadillac Experience Centre is a unique concept for Europe. It offers a relaxing, appealing atmosphere to view the Cadillac model line-up. The 'Cadillac Lounge' is used for customer meetings, and has a club-like atmosphere, with luxurious leather seating.

In the background, a multimedia wall of LCD screens provides information on the vehicles and Cadillac brand philosophy. Here, those present, watched short films and computer-animated presentations on Cadillac.

IBM executives were greatly impressed with the concept behind this innovative showroom. In fact, they ended up spending much more time at the Cadillac Experience Centre than they had originally planned.

Jos Knops, sales manager IBM, speaking on behalf of all IBM executives present, thanked Fapi Motors' management for making their visit so enjoyable and wished them continued success with the Cadillac marque in Malta.

Fapi Motors Limited forms part of the Famalco Group of Companies.
