New executive assistant manager at Le Méridien St Julian's

Angela Saliba has been promoted executive assistant manager at Le Méridien St Julians, Balluta Bay.

Ms Saliba joins Le Méridien St Julian's (www.lemeridien.com/stjulians) from the hotel's sister property, the Westin Dragonara Resort, after more than ten years in this Starwood property. Starting out in the Rooms Division, Ms Saliba was later promoted to director of Six Sigma. In this role she completed significant projects at property level that focus on improvements on area for revenue growth and cost containment while also looking at ways to be more innovative in the operation and increase employee and guest satisfaction.

During her tenure as director of Six Sigma Black Belt, Ms Saliba also led several successful regional projects for Starwood's Italy and Central Mediterranean region. She also worked on divisional projects leading her to being recognised as EAME (Europe, Africa, Middle East) director of Six Sigma Black Belt of the year. Ms Saliba will be assisting general manager Michael Shannon in the effective management of Le Méridien St Julian's, and in striving to develop a culture of continous development amid the new Le Méridien market positioning.
