Cuba's Dayron Robles upset Olympic 60 metres hurdles king Liu Xiang at the Paris Golden League meeting last night.

The 20-year-old Robles, a silver medallist at last year's world indoor championships, recovered from a false start to win the 110 hurdles in 13.13 seconds.

American Anwar Moore, a winner at the opening Golden League meeting in Oslo last month, finished second in the same time to drop out of the hunt for the million-dollar jackpot shared by those who win their event at all six showcase meetings.

China's Liu, the Olympic champion who has promised to beat his world record of 12.88 this year, had to be content with third place in 13.15.
