Two young keepers to attend training camp in Italy

Two youngsters from the Mario Muscat Goalkeepers School are to attend a week-long intensive training camp at the Numero Uno School for Goalkeepers in Chiusi, Italy, between July 8 and 14.

The two young goalkeepers are Jean Matthias Vella and Christian Francica, members of the U-16 teams of the San Gwann and Birkirkara Youth Football Nurseries respectively.

This exciting opportunity for Vella and Francica materialised thanks to a scholarship offered by Hibs and Malta goalkeeper Mario Muscat and one of his principal technical sponsors, Errea.

Throughout the training camp, the young goalkeepers will be under the watchful eyes of qualified coaches and technical scouts from Italian clubs, namely Lazio, Parma and Torino.
