Edinburgh-based UK environmental consultancy SLR Consulting Limited has renewed its agreement with Maltese firm, AIS Environmental Limited.
The deal will ensure the firm continues to provide environmental consultancy services across the Mediterranean from AIS's base in Malta for a further three years.
The partnership offers consultancy expertise to the waste, energy including oil and gas, planning and development, financial, industrial and mining/minerals sectors.
SLR director Ian Roberts, who manages the AIS relationship on behalf of the company, said: "The partnership has been hugely successful over recent years. We have completed a number of major waste management projects together, including high-profile environmental impact assessments, for a number of new waste facilities on behalf of the government of Malta."
SLR currently employs 30 specialist environmental consultants in Edinburgh, and provides quality environmental services to private and public sector clients throughout the UK and overseas.
The company continues to expand, and now has 270 staff based at 13 offices in the UK and nine in the USA.
