Angela Saliba has been promoted to the post of executive assistant manager at Le Méridien St Julians, Balluta Bay.
Ms Saliba joins Le Méridien St Julians from the hotel's sister property, the Westin Dragonara Resort, after more than 10 years in this Starwood property. Starting out in the Rooms Division, she was later promoted to director of Six Sigma. In this role she has completed big projects at property level that focused on improvements on revenue growth and cost containment. Ms Saliba also led several successful regional projects for Starwood's Italy and Central Mediterrean Region. She also worked on divisional projects.
Ms Saliba will be assisting Michael Shannon, general manager, in the management of Le Méridien St Julians and is striving to develop a culture of continuous development in the midst of the new Le Méridien market positioning.
