Quite recently a reader wrote enquiring how it is possible that the milk bought on the eve of public holidays or on Fridays has a longer life span than milk bought on the other days of the week.

I think that MDP owes us an explanation. If none is given then we would be justified to believe that we are being taken for a ride and that the dates printed on the milk cartons are fictitious! It's about time that someone spoke up.
