A foreign driver was injured when his Seat Ibiza was involved in a collision with a route bus in Parades Street, St Paul's Bay, at abut 2.30 a.m., yesterday.

The injured driver was taken to hospital in an ambulance. Police said the driver, whose condition is stable, was kept in hospital for further treatment.

The street was temporarily closed for traffic pending investigations.
