Training and 60 minutes a great success

A group of 45 Re/Max Malta sales associates and 11 managers/franchise owners were recently provided with real estate specific training at the Intercontinental Hotel, St Julian's.

The training programmes, "Your Re/Max Career" and "Your Re/Max Franchise", designed for associates and franchise owners/managers respectively, focused on building a career in the real estate industry as a sales associate (agent) and as a manager/franchise owner.

James Busuttil, franchise owner of Re/Max central, located in Birkirkara, said: "Over my many years of experience, I have not seen a trainer make such a great impact on agents and managers. The content of the training and the delivery was superb."

After successfully completing this four-day training programme with Re/Max Europe trainer Edwin Markus, the Re/Max Malta team were highly geared up for the long awaited "60 minutes with Re/Max" presentation, featuring special guest and successful regional director of Re/Max Netherlands, Mr Felix de Wit.

"60 minutes with Re/Max" is a concept created to provide prospective real estate agents and the public with a glimpse of what the Re/Max world is all about and why one should choose Re/Max as a career move or as the agency to assist in the purchase or sale of one's home.

Kevin Buttigieg, regional director, Re/Max Malta, opened the evening to an attendance of 90 participants, leading the way for Mr de Wit to provide a 25-minute vibrant presentation regarding Re/Max. This was followed by testimonials delivered by Michael Galea, franchise owner, and Kevin Deguara, sales associate.

Mr Buttigieg expressed his satisfaction at the participation and said: "We are very pleased with the results and feedback we received and it augurs well for the future at Re/Max.

"Having Felix in Malta to share his own Re/Max experience with everybody surely confirms that Re/Max is a great company to be part of."

The evening ended with a cocktail reception, where participants mingled and shared their personal experiences and, more importantly, answered questions raised by interested prospective new colleagues, who attended the event.
