Golden Wedding
Mr MAURICE J. LUBRANO and Miss TERRY BENCINI
The marriage took place on June 30, 1957, at St Ignatius church, Sliema. Mass was celebrated by Canon Goffredo Lubrano and witnessed by Sir Paul Boffa and Chief Engineer Anthony Attard. Mr Anthony Buttigieg Depiro acted as best man, while Madeleine Lubrano was bridesmaid. Congratulations and lots of love from your children Massimo and Myriam, Andreina and Chris, Vanya and Clarence and from your adored grandchildren Gianluca, Bianca, Martina, Mattia, Giulia, Nikolai, Alessia, Kara and Michele. We love you nanna and nannu. God bless you always.
Obituary
ORR. On June 28th, WILLIAM, widower of Georgette née Bonello Ghio, aged 88, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Marika and her husband Carmel Mallia, Angela and her husband Vincent Cuschieri, William, and Joseph, his grandchildren Suzanne, Patricia, Lisa and their husbands, David and his fiancée, William and James, his beloved great grand-daughter Mary, his brother Fr. Joseph Orr SJ, his sister Muriel and her husband Albert Ganado, his brothers in-law Lino and his wife Rose, Mario and his wife Marlene, Guido and his wife Monica, Luke Gauci widower of Yvonne, Rita widow of Louis , Louisette widow of Maurice, and Doris widow of Aldo, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves Charella Residential Home, The Strand, Sliema, on Monday at 8.15 a.m. for St Gregory parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.45 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request, but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be appreciated.
Lord grant him eternal rest.
Micallef. On June 29, at St Vincent de Paul, Filippa, aged 86, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers and sisters Marianne, Emanuel and his wife Filippa, Paul and his wife Mary, Philip and his wife Frances, Stella widow of her brother Giovanni, Evangelista widow of her brother Karmenu and Giovanna widow of her brother Toni, nephews and nieces and their families, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence today at 3 p.m. for St Philip parish church, Zebbug where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m. followed by interment in the family grave at St Andrew Cemetery, Zebbug. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza will be greatly appreciated.

Schembri. On June 28, at St Luke's Hospital, Giovanna of Birkirkara, aged 72, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brother Sam and his wife Alice, Rita, widow of her brother Joseph, nephews and nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 8.30 a.m. for St Helen's Basilica, Birkirkara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m. followed by interment at Naxxar Cemetery.
Donations to Dar tal-Providenza will be greatly appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors.

French Grand Prix
While the FIA 2007 Formula One World Championship nears its half-way stage, enthusiasts are welcome to join McLaren F1 Club (Malta) supporters to watch live on the big screen the French Grand Prix which takes place at the Magny-Cours circuit tomorrow.
The race, which starts at 2 p.m. will be shown at The Halland Hotel, Ta' l-Ibrag. At the end of the race those present will have the chance to win Formula One merchandising.
