Bank transfers

Joseph Deguara (Bank Transfer Charges, June 25) should make sure that he transfers his funds via IBAN. The IBAN directive states that an international IBAN transfer must not be more expensive than a normal national transfer. In case he does already transfer his money, he might inform his bank to comply to the IBAN directive.
