Abandoned kittens

I would like to pass on my heartfelt disgust at the cruel heartless person who dumped three newborn kittens in a cardboard box at the end of Triq l-Ibhra by the Oriana on the morning of June 20. The sun was blazing down on them (11 a.m.).

One of the kittens died while I was giving the other two a drink, I took them to Happy Paws charity shop to see if they could help. I would have kept them myself but I already have five cats of my own (all from outside) so didn't have room to be able to keep them.

May I say thank you so much to the lady in the shop who bought special milk and took them home to hopefully hand rear them, before passing to The Flower and Pet Shop for adoption. Also thank you to all the staff at Happy Paws for the sterling job they do and for helping me also.

I will never understand why people can leave defenceless animals to the elements to die in pain when there are facilities here to accommodate them. But thankfully the majority do care.
