Lewis Hamilton's McLaren shut down during the first practice session on Friday because it was too cool. "The engine protection system kicked in because the engine was too cool. We have changed the level of temperature and everything is okay," the team said. Hamilton came sixth in the morning and fourth in the afternoon, never challenging the Ferraris who headed both practice sessions.
