Champagne flows at Del Borgo

Scores of well-known personalities poured into Vittoriosa's Del Borgo wine bar for an exclusive champagne night.

The event, which was organised by Del Borgo owners Alan Mercieca Bons and Ingrid Dalli in conjunction with Attard & Co, was held to celebrate the launch of the new Jacquart champagne marketing campaign, featuring Miss Malta 2006/07 Rania Zouari.

"The focus of the campaign is glamour. The product itself, Jacquart, carries an obvious glamour and prestige - as does the model Rania Zouari," manager Mr Mercieca Bons said.

Present among the 300-strong crowd were Malta's fashion leaders and other well-known faces including TV personalities and singers.

The event also coincided with Del Borgo's second anniversary.
