Two trade unions have warned the Enemalta management that they are prepared to take action over delays in the start of negotiations over the new collective agreement. The General Workers' Union and the Enemalta Professional Officers' Union said that enough time had elapsed for the management to start the talks.

The two unions say they are prepared to take action unless discussions start "within a reasonable time".
