Fixed line, internet and mobile services package launched

Vodafone has launched an all-inclusive package for fixed line, internet and mobile services with broadband wireless access service.

The Vodafone @home will be available from Wednesday.

The company said it is the first local operator to offer broadband and Voice over IP services to residential and business customers through fixed WiMAX, on the 3.5 GHz spectrum.

It is also deploying fixed WiMAX to deliver broadband services to homes and businesses.

Starting from Lm15 a month, Vodafone @home offers customers with broadband, fixed telephony and mobile services in one package. Customers benefit from up to 1Mbit/sec download speeds and 10Gbytes of usage in a month, 200 free fixed line voice minutes, 50 free mobile minutes to all local numbers, international fixed rates starting from 1c5 per minute and no line rental.

Vodafone @home offers three packages: Consumer, Business and Online prepaid.

Customers subscribing to this service do not need to change their fixed line number and can move their broadband connection to wherever they go.

Coverage will initially be available in Bugibba/Qawra, Naxxar, Mosta, Attard, Balzan, Iklin, Lija, Birkirkara, Fleur-de-lys, Hamrun, Kappara, San Gwann, Qormi, Sta Venera, Zebbug, Rabat and Mtarfa.

Nationwide coverage will be possible by March.
