Pantene Hair of the Year winner announced

Kay Cassar has won the Pantene Hair of the Year search. She was awarded a year's contract with the model agency models.com, a weekend at the Fortina Spa resort and a cover and six-page fashion spread with FM magazine during the coming months.

A panel of five judges including Procter & Gamble representative Amaury Marchandise and Victor Galea Salomone from VJ Salomone Marketing, distributors for Pantene, announced the decision last Friday during a gala event held at the Merkanti beach club at the Hilton Malta, at which the 11 finalists were voted on their hair, skin, smile and general appearance.

Five per cent of the overall decision came from the public as a result of an online vote for the finalists, who have been appearing on the TV programme Liquorish ever since they were announced three weeks ago.

The search for the Pantene Hair of the Year began during the launch of the new Pantene image last April when local model scout Carina Camilleri began scouring the country for potential contestants.
