"The Palace hotel, which is opening soon, is employing over 150 full and part-timers. In The Victoria's well-established tradition, we are committed towards the ultimate quality service in both hotels. This would not be possible to achieve without the dedication of our qualified staff".

Ms Xuereb added that "similar to The Victoria hotel, The Palace's strong points and biggest assets are expected to be service, location, character and charm.

The name of The Palace reflects luxury, and we want to exceed the very idea of luxury in all aspects. Our guest profile includes individuals who travel for business and culture; therefore our service standards are second to none."

The Palace will be opening its doors by the end of this month. The hotel, with 161 rooms spread over nine floors, has cost around Lm9 million.

The Palace is a modern, urban hotel but has a classical touch that gives the decor a dramatic effect.
