Six players contested this year's Malta Masters, a competition open to Maltese nationals only who rank among the top 100 in the world.
Massimo Cremona, Joe Mifsud, Hansel Mallia, Mark Gauci, Samuel Bartolo and Joe Borg Bonaci qualified to take part in the Malta Masters.
The competition, organised by the Malta Table Football Sports Association (MTFSA), was staged at the Teasers Café in Hamrun.
The Masters was played on a league format with the six competitors facing each other once.
Mark Gauci was the overall winner with a two-point lead over Joe Borg Bonaci.
Massimo Cremona, the highest-ranked player, lost 8-4 to Gauci and 4-0 to Samuel Bartolo to finish fourth.
At the end of the tournament, the players were presented with trophies and treated to a reception by Marco Mallia, owner of Teasers Café.
