Landscaping:

• Landscaping of the site shall be implemented immediately following the demolition of the existing buildings and prior to the commencement of excavation and construction works.

• Planting of mature trees shall be carried out as indicated on the approved plans. This means that planting has to be carried out with specific trees going in specific places.

• The entire scheme shall be implemented in its entirety within the first planting season following completion of the development hereby approved.

• Trees chosen are those which experts have indicated are appropriate.

• No turf species are to be used in the planting scheme.

• External lighting devices are to be of the downward pointing type.

• Prior to the issue of development permission, the applicant shall submit a bank guarantee of the value of Lm10,000 to ensure adherence with the project plans, the landscaping scheme, the approved documents, and all conditions of this development permission.

• In the event of infringement, the bank guarantee shall be immediately forfeited.

• Permission is granted, as per Regulation Eight of the Trees and Woodlands (Protection) Regulations Legal Notice 12 of 2001 for the uprooting of:
     • four Tamarix africana
     • six Chamaerops humilis

• The uprooting procedure is to follow the provisions of Article eight of Legal Notice 12 of 2001.

• Compensatory planting required.
