A man was injured in a fire that caught while he was using a blowlamp to remove old paint from a boat in a garage at Ghajnsielem yesterday morning.

The fire brigade had to be called to extinguish the fire which spread to other parts of the garage.

The man is being treated for burns at Gozo's General Hospital.
