Neptunes will be organising their annual summer swimming school, between July 3 and September 15, for children aged four years and older at the club's fresh water pool in St Julian's.
Swimmers will be split into various groups, according to ability, with special emphasis on teaching the correct breathing and swimming stroke techniques.
Successful swimmers in the advanced groups, who complete the 11-week course, may continue training with the Neptunes Swimming Unit throughout the year.
Last summer, over 170 swimmers attended the summer school and the majority of participants completed the course and were given a Certificate of Attendance.
The Neptunes Swimming Unit was established more than 20 years ago.
Some of Malta's top swimmers have had their grassroots at Neptunes including national team swimmers Angela Galea, Nicole Cremona, Neil Agius and Talisa Pace all of whom represented Malta in Monaco during the GSSE 2007.
Participants may choose either morning or afternoon sessions. Further information and registration forms may be obtained from the website www.neptuneswpsc.com.
Registration days are tomorrow (6.30 to 7.30 p.m.) and Saturday (10.30 to 11.30 a.m.) at the Neptunes pitch.
