Thanks to the Nationalist government's vision, Malta, a member of the European Union, is now joining a healthy family of 315 million euro-users. This means that there is no need for bulk buying, one of the favourite practices of Socialist governments, and neither is there any chance of devaluating or depreciating our currency as proposed by Alfred Sant a couple of years ago.

It is an undeniable fact that our finances are on a sound footing. A far cry from Dr Sant's predictions that Malta will become white-bait for bigger fish, or that our share from the EU would be a measly Lm1.5m.
