The PSG will present updates on HP notebooks, desktops, monitors, iPaqs and accessories, as well as HP protect tools, to mention a few. The presentation will illustrate how HP extended the pc market share lead in the worldwide PC market, according to results from the fourth calendar quarter of 2006, released on January 17 by IDC.
TSG presentations will focus on HP's Blade System Industry Standard Server technology update. HP grew overall server shipments by 16.6 per cent in the first quarter, growing faster than the top 10 vendors in the worldwide server market.
Driven by strong growth across its ProLiant, Integrity and BladeSystem families, HP captured 33.6 per cent shipment share in the first quarter, shipping more than one out of every three servers in the world.
These strong results were underscored with the fact that HP again tied for number one in worldwide Q1 server factory revenue for the third year in a row.
Another topic to be covered will be storage solutions. HP has reclaimed the number one position in worldwide total disk storage systems revenue from IBM, with 20.1 per cent market share, according to market data for the first calendar quarter of 2007 released last week by IDC.
