Atlas donates a tree for every comprehensive motor policy

Atlas Group will be participating in the Foresta 2000 appeal as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility project and its commitment towards creating a better Maltese environment.

Atlas will be donating a tree to Foresta 2000 with every new motor comprehensive policy issued this month and in July, starting from a minimum guaranteed donation of Lm1,500. Michael Gatt, Atlas Group managing director, presented the donation to the Minister for Rural Affairs and the Environment George Pullicino during an event in Mellieha earlier this month.

The Atlas staff will participate in a tree-planting session in October, and will join a large-scale joint effort to plant 6,000 trees.

"Our participation in the Foresta 2000 Appeal fits in very well with our corporate social responsibility policy. Atlas is donating a tree with every new motor comprehensive policy bought during the next two months. We very much look forward to the tree planting event in October and it will be great to see Atlas and its staff involved in such an excellent initiative," Mr Gatt said.
