Moira Grixti, a nursing officer at the Diabetes Clinic of St Luke's Hospital, was awarded the St Luke's Worker of the Year Award.

Ms Grixti has been an active committee member of the Maltese Diabetes Association for several years and currently occupies the post of education officer.

She is also the coordinator of the Annual Summer Camp for Children with Diabetes.
