A 52-year-old man was yesterday charged with threatening to kill his wife and son and instilling fear in them.

The man was also charged with threatening them with a knife, harassment, breaching the peace and with the illegal possession of the knife on and before Monday.

The man was granted bail against a Lm500 deposit and a personal guarantee of Lm2,000 after Magistrate Jacqueline Padovani heard that he will be living with his other son.

The name of the man is not being published to protect the identity of his family.
