Solidarity all the way

As Malta deals with irregular immigrants in large numbers, our small nation is right to expect solidarity from all other EU members and other countries. Likewise it is the duty of all states to show solidarity with all human beings, especially those in imminent danger of drowning, whether clinging to a precarious boat or some tuna net. The parable of the Good Samaritan (Lk 29, 29-37) teaches this truth.
