I am not surprised to read of developers being allowed to destroy yet another beautiful part of Gozo.

While there at Easter I took a series of disgraceful photographs in the beautiful park in Victoria. The new development beside the park was destroying all the trees at the perimeter. The broken branches from the trees were being used for site backfill, would you believe. The park was also being used as the developers' personal area to facilitate construction. Much of the timber lying in the park had dangerous protruding nails.

There is obviously no planning control in Gozo. This should not happen in a public park under any circumstances.
